Atlante Conseil was established in 2003 by a transport economist. At the European level, its director has been involved in recent transport projects including UTOPIA, CLEANER DRIVE and PRISMATICA. At the national level, its director has worked on PRAXITELE - self service time-sharing based on electric cars, on the dissemination of EDF electric bus programme.

The Austrian Energy Agency (AEA) is the Austrian energy research and policy institution in which the federal and the provincial administration ("Bund" and "Länder" respectively) and some forty important institutions and corporations from a variety of economic sectors co-operate. Transport projects, including mobility management, have formed a large part of the work of the agency.

The Centre for Renewable Energy Sources (CRES) is a public entity under the auspices of the Ministry of Development but functions under private law. CRES has participated in more than 500 European and national projects. In carrying out these projects, CRES has cooperated with a large number of public and private organizations, on a national as well as on a European and international level. These include transport and energy projects, including biofuels and transport energy efficiency.

The Energy Saving Trust (EST) The Energy Saving Trust was set up by the Government after the 1992 Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro. It is one of the UK's leading organisations working to reduce carbon emissions, which are leading to climate change. The Energy Saving Trust aims to cut carbon emissions by promoting the sustainable and efficient use of energy in households, small businesses, the public sector and the transport sector. The Energy Saving Trust is a not-for-profit organisation funded by Government and the private sector

The Institute for Diversification and Saving of Energy (IDAE) is a publicly owned business-structured entity attached to the Ministry of Economy, Energy, and Small and Medium Enterprises. Its main aim is to foster energy efficiency and the rational use of energy in Spain, as well as the diversity of energy sources and the use of renewable energy sources. Other key activities of the Institute relate to the efficient use of energy in the transport sector, an emerging area in which the IDAE plays a key and increasing role.

Motiva was established in 1993 by the Finnish Ministry of Trade and Industry as an Information Centre for Energy Efficiency. In 1996 Motiva’s activities were extended, by including the promotion of renewable energy sources in the responsibilities. As of December 2000 Motiva Oy is an impartial and state-owned joint stock company. Motiva co-ordinates the national network of regional energy agencies and several other significant networks, and has introduced and developed the EcoDriving concept in Finland.

SenterNovem, the Netherlands agency for energy and the environment, is an agency specialised in the management of energy and environmental programmes on behalf of the Dutch government, the European Union and the International Energy Agency (IEA). In addition to knowledge and expertise, Novem can also offer various forms of public financial support. Novem co-operates with the business world, not-for-profit organisations, governmental bodies and research institutions. One of the key themes for Novem is sustainable mobility, where an active programme of projects is managed, including EcoDriving.

Vito (the Flemish institute for technological research) implements client-driven research projects and develops innovative products and processes in the fields of energy, environment and materials. The Energy Technology Centre of Expertise, with the subgroup Vehicle Technology, has worked on the effects of traffic on the energy supply and the environment at the vehicle as well as at the traffic level. In this perspective, demonstration and evaluation projects regarding new technologies (alternative fuels and vehicle technologies) have been set up and carried out for industry and public authorities.
