TREATISE ran a total of 63 workshops in the eight participating countries and trained 1722 people from energy agencies, local authorities and municipalities and the private sector.
TREATISE was funded by the EC Intelligent Energy Europe program and national partners, which meant the training was offered free of charge.
Some of the training workshops focused on just one of the project’s three subjects - Cleaner Fuels and Vehicles; Ecodriving; and Mobility Management – while other seminars covered all three subjects.
Training seminars typically involved 10-40 trainees and include exercises designed to reinforce key messages and learnings. Where practical, seminars were held in several different regions of partner countries to minimise the distance that trainees need to travel.
In addition to the seminar hand-outs, trainees also receive TREATISE reference manuals covering the same subjects in more detail.
